We’ve Launched!

Welcome to the new website for Mt. Rose Reformed OPC! Over the past several weeks, the session has been working with developer Five More Talents to build a new website for the congregation, and we are delighted to unveil the final product today.

The main goal of the website is to introduce Mt. Rose to others: who we are, our beliefs, our worship, and our congregational life. But it should also be a useful resource for those of us already a part of the congregation. The site includes recorded sermons, a calendar, a link for giving online, and what you’re reading now – the Pastor’s Blog.

Though I’ve started and given up on more blogs than I care to admit, my aim is to post here regularly. The bulk of my posts will likely be devotional summaries of the sermon I preached the previous Sunday (another way to introduce visitors to our beliefs). But I also hope to make posts with reflections on Scripture and the Christian life, issues facing Christians and the church today, book reviews and recommendations, personal and family updates, and whatever else may be of interest and edifying for others to read.

To be honest, the blog will probably evolve as time goes on. But I enjoy writing and I’m looking forward to putting down words for others to read here.

I’m grateful the website is up and running, and I pray that God will use it to be a blessing to the congregation of Mt. Rose and to others.

Soli Deo Gloria!

Pastor Johnson
