Church Life at Mt. Rose

And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers. (Acts 2:42)

As Christians, God has not only united us to Christ for our salvation but He has also joined us to one another for our mutual encouragement. The first believers did not live in isolation from one another, but they met regularly for times of worship and fellowship.

The church life at Mt. Rose centers upon the worship of God – we believe God uses worship not only for His own glory, but as a means of grace to bless His people. Our Sunday worship service begins at 10:00 a.m. We celebrate the Lord’s Supper on the first Sunday of each month.

See here for more information on worship at Mt. Rose.

Sunday School takes place after worship, from 11:45 – 12:30. We offer classes for both children and adults. Occasionally Pastor Johnson leads a class for prospective new members and for those who desire to learn more about the basics of the Christian faith and Reformed practice and theology.

Once a month we enjoy a fellowship meal after the morning service and Sunday School.

There are other times for fellowship, instruction, and prayer in addition to worship and Sunday School on the Lord’s Day. Our regular weekly meetings include a Wednesday evening prayer meeting and a Thursday Evening Ladies’ Bible Study. For these and other activities of the church, see the church calendar.
