I grew up in a loving family but one that almost never attended church. Until age 23, I considered myself either atheistic or agnostic. But at that time, the Lord opened my eyes and heart to the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ. After coming to faith in Christ, I experienced a growing sense of a call to the ministry. I attended Westminster Theological Seminary (Philadelphia) from 1999 – 2003, after which I served as pastors of two churches in the OPC: Grace OPC in Norman, Oklahoma (2003 – 2007), and Grace OPC in Wasilla, Alaska (2007-2020). My family and I are delighted to be here in Reno, and we look forward to growing together with the congregation of Mt. Rose in the grace of God. Robyn and I have been married since 2000 and God has blessed us with five children. We enjoy taking family hikes along with our dog Bailey. My hobbies include the “3 R’s” – reading, running, and rooting for the St. Louis Cardinals.
