Sacred Time

God gave the Sabbath not as a burden, but as a gift—a day set apart for rest, worship, and the joyful reminder that we belong to Him. In keeping the Lord’s Day holy, we do not lose life’s good things; we gain the blessing of drawing near to Christ and anticipating our eternal rest in Him.

The Market Day of the Soul

The Sabbath is a gracious gift from God, meant not as a burden but as a weekly delight that points us back to Christ’s re-creation in the resurrection and forward to the eternal rest he promises. Keeping the Lord’s Day holy by resting from ordinary labor and gathering for worship both nourishes our souls and testifies to the world that our true hope and life are in Jesus.
